[…] Ablauf der Veranstaltung, Den Kompetenzen auf der Spur, Weiterführende Links, Bilderslider 21 EuroApprentices aus elf Bundesländern kamen für ein Wochenende zusammen und erlebten ein abwechslungsreiches Programm. Nach einem Update zum Botschafter/-innen-Netzwerk und zum Erasmus+ Programm gab es die Gelegenheit, sich über die eigenen Aktivitäten auszutauschen. Ob Vortrag, Messebesuch, Podiumsdiskussion oder Social Media Post - das Repertoire der EuroApprentices ist groß, wenn es darum geht, das Erasmus+ Programm bekannter zu machen und junge Menschen davon zu überzeugen, selbst einen Auslandsaufenthalt zu wagen. Der erste Tag endete mit einer Netzwerk-Session zu europäischem, ehrenamtlichem Engagement mit Vertreter/-innen der EuroPeers und der Jungen Europäischen Förderalisten . Am Folgetag wurde im Rahmen eines Workshops das wirkungsvolle und souveräne Auftreten geübt, ehe die EuroApprentices loszogen, um die Stadt Kiel zu erkunden. Dabei hatten sie auch die Möglichkeit, das Landesfunkhaus des NDR zu besuchen, um einen Eindruck von der dort geleisteten Medienarbeit zu erhalten. Da auch die Botschafter/-innen über ausgeprägte mediale Kompetenzen verfügen und verschiedene Kanäle regelmäßig selbständig bespielen (z. B. ihren eigenen Instagram- und LinkedIn-Kanal), war das Interesse am Tagesgeschäft eines großen deutschen Radio- und Fernsehsenders natürlich enorm. Der letzte Veranstaltungstag war geprägt von Reflexionsübungen - zum einen über die Rolle der EuroApprentices und welche Werte sie alle eint, zum anderen über bewährte Aktivitäten und wie diese im kommenden Jahr fortgesetzt und weiterentwickelt werden können. Dabei war auch Raum, um neue Ideen direkt umzusetzen, wie eine Videokampagne zu europäischen Werten, die zeitnah in den Sozialen Medien erscheinen wird sowie kurze Videoclips zu aktuellen Social Media-Trends, die die Reichweite der Kanäle gezielt steigern sollen. , Zum Abschluss des Treffens war es die Aufgabe der EuroApprentices einzuschätzen, welche Kompetenzen sich durch ihr ehrenamtliches Engagement weiterentwickelt haben. Dabei zeigt sich klar, dass die Botschafter/-innen-Rolle sowohl einen positiven Effekt auf die berufliche als auch auf die persönliche Entwicklung der EuroApprentices hat. Es wird deutlich, dass Erfahrungen, die im Rahmen des Ehrenamtes gemacht wurden, im Beruflichen und im Privaten sinnvoll genutzt werden können. Besonders die Selbstwirksamkeit des eigenen Engagements wird als hoch eingeschätzt: Die Teilnehmenden haben das Gefühl, dass ihre Erfahrungen für andere wertvoll sind und ihre Rolle sie in die Lage versetzt, andere zu inspirieren. Zudem zeigt sich durch ihre Rolle eine zunehmende Offenheit für Neues bei den Botschafter/-innen und sie geben an, dass ihr Engagement als EuroApprentice ihre Zukunftsplanung durchaus beeinflusst hat. , Die EuroApprentices Initiative ist ein europäisches Netzwerk, bestehend aus über 300 Botschafter/-innen für Erasmus+ in der Berufsbildung aus insgesamt 11 Ländern. Sie berichten ehrenamtlich über ihre Erfahrungen mit dem Erasmus+ Programm und machen Mut, damit auch andere Lernende der Berufsbildung sich trauen, den Schritt ins Ausland zu wagen. April 2026 haben die Europäische Union und das Vereinigte Königreich die Grundlage für die Assoziierung des Vereinigten Königreichs mit Erasmus+ im Jahr 2027 geschaffen. Damit stehen 2027 die Türen wieder offen für europäische Kooperationen mit dem Vereinigten Königreich. , Das am 15.04.2026 unterzeichnete Abkommen regelt die vollumfängliche Teilnahme des Vereinigten Königreichs am Erasmus+-Programm. Damit werden deutsche Bildungseinrichtungen in der Berufs- und Erwachsenenbildung, wie in allen anderen Sektoren des Programms, im Rahmen der Projekte, die auf der Grundlage des Aufrufs 2027 gefördert werden, wieder Lernende und Personal zu britischen Partnern entsenden können und diese Einrichtungen an Kooperationsprojekten beteiligen. Ebenso wird es nun Kooperationsanfragen aus dem Vereinigten Königreich geben, denen nichts mehr im Weg steht. Nach dem Brexit im Jahr 2020 stehen damit in 2027 die Türen wieder offen für europäische Kooperationen mit dem Vereinigten Königreich. Die Teilnahme des Vereinigten Königreichs an Erasmus+ 2028-2034 ist damit noch nicht formalisiert, beide Seiten streben dies aber an. Auch die Schweiz, die 2014 ausgeschieden war, wird voraussichtlich ab 2027 wieder vollumfänglich am Erasmus+-Programm teilnehmen. Die Schweizer Regierung hat dies grundsätzlich mit der EU-Kommission verhandelt und beschlossen.
